DECEIT?

DECEITFULLY YOURS
by BETHANY BAZILE

4 BREATHTAKING STARS

This was a story that I received from Netgalley in return for a review. I will admit that I was drawn to the description, but mainly because it sounded like a great set up for a yummy erotic tale. I was wrong...I was right...I was blown away! I devoured this story; chewing through each page...wanting to find the answers and yet wanting it to hold off and last a bit longer.

DECEITFULLY YOURS is the tale of Kylie and Jude. The tale of the deceptions that have made their paths cross and those that continue to linger and threaten the growing love between them. The story is filled with erotic scenes that flush your skin and make you pant, but also contains moments of pure sweet love that bring tears to your eyes. With each new day, each new scene between them a new line is crossed bringing them closer and yet causing the looming heartache to be that much worse.

Although the story is of Kylie and Jude, the secondary cast almost steals the show at times. Marcus is dark and you feel the blackness bleed off the page, while Stacia pulls at your heart. She makes you feel her need, her desire to be free of the prison that holds her, her desperation is almost palpable at times. Add the Thor twins (OMG!!!) and Jude's family and you have a wonderfully rounded cast with all the complications of real life that cause people to deceive.

Each moment they spent together brings them closer to what can only be the end. Right? How can you love someone who has so completely ruined your trust? How can you expect someone to look at you and believe you when you've lied? It's all here in DECEITFULLY YOURS; the good the bad and the questionable in people. I am honestly hooked and can't wait for more. Can you completely forgive or does it always leave a stain on the love you feel? This is one hell of an emotional ride and I don't think you'll feel it's effects until it's over!

Ms. Bazile dishes up an intriguingly deep tale of the right, the wrong and the ever widening gray areas of life. It's all about deception...deception that surrounds each of us every day of our lives. The deception that we create and that we participate in every waking moment of the day. Not only was this a great read it has provided a wonderful base for many conversations around drink filled, smoky bub tables. How do we deceive and why? Is it out of necessity or pleasure? Does our deception define us or does it wash away who we really are?
